I am an ecologist with a focus on freshwater fish and fisheries in lakes. I study the impacts of human activities (e.g., forestry, urban development) and climate change on aquatic ecosystems, and the assessment and management of fisheries resources. I integrate empirical data, ecological theory, and GIS to look for patterns in aquatic ecosystems and learn more about how they function.

Research Area:

My recent areas of concentration are:

  • Aquatic ecology and fisheries in the anthropocene
  • Inland lake fisheries assessment and management

Graduate Education:

  • B.Sc. Hons. University of Western Ontario, London, Ontario
