Background:
I started out in engineering and shifted to biology and ecology in grad school. My research area in the past has been in the seam between population ecology and growth/production models for fish and zooplankton. Recently, I've been interested in life history theory and food web dynamics. A number of grad students and research projects have been in these areas over the last several years.
Research Area:
My recent areas of concentration are:
- Fish life history - theory and application
- Growth and production models
- Aquatic food webs
Graduate Education:
- M.Sc. University of Toronto
- Ph.D. University of Toronto
Cross-Appointments:
- Dept. of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, University of Toronto
Graduate Students
I supervise graduate students (University of Toronto) or serve on graduate student committees through cross-appointments. Students interested in graduate opportunities should check the University of Toronto, Department of Zoology web site.
Publications
This is a list of publications from collaborative research with grad students and colleagues.
